Internal Surface Food-Grade Protection Treatment

To meet the requirements for food-grade nitrous oxide filling, the inner surface of the cylinder requires special protective treatment to prevent gas contamination:

1. Inner Surface Cleaning

An ultrasonic cleaning machine is used to circulate and rinse the inner surface with a food-grade cleaning agent to remove iron filings, oil stains, and dust remaining from the stamping and welding processes. After cleaning, the inner surface is rinsed with purified water at least three times.

2. Passivation and Coating

Inner surface passivation treatment is performed: immersion in a nitric acid-phosphoric acid mixed solution to form a dense passivation film, enhancing the corrosion resistance of the inner surface; (optional) spraying with a food-grade epoxy resin coating, with a coating thickness of 20-30μm. After curing, the coating is odorless and does not peel off, ensuring that no harmful substances are released when in contact with food-grade nitrous oxide.

3. Cleanliness Testing

A particle counter is used to test the cleanliness of the inner surface, ensuring that the number of particles with a diameter ≥5μm is ≤10 particles/cylinder, meeting the hygiene standards for food contact utensils.

External Surface Anti-Corrosion and Marking Process

1. External Surface Pre-treatment

The external surface undergoes three steps of degreasing, pickling, and phosphating to remove oil stains and oxide layers, enhancing coating adhesion.

2. Anti-Corrosion Coating

Using electrostatic powder coating or hot-dip galvanizing process:

• Powder coating process: using environmentally friendly polyester powder coating, with a coating thickness of 60-80μm, and adhesion reaching GB/T 9286 standard level 1;
• Galvanizing process: hot-dip galvanized layer thickness ≥85μm, no red rust after 480 hours of salt spray testing, suitable for storage in humid environments.

3. Marking Printing

Using screen printing technology, key information is clearly marked on the bottle body: product name, capacity specifications, food-grade special mark, safety warnings ("Do not inhale," "Keep away from high temperatures"), production batch number, applicable standards, etc. The printed pattern is wear-resistant and scratch-resistant.
